Terms of Service:

Services provided:

Entertainment is provided by Face and Body FX and its employees. Only professional quality face paints and cosmetic products approved and tested for use on the skin are used.  Artists will provide the supplies required.

Fees:

I/we agree to pay booked Face Painters as outlined in the booking contact information at the rate of pay is $120* per hour worked.  There is a 2 hour, minimum for corporate functions and an 8 hour, daily maximum. Additional face painters are available at a rate of $120 per hour per artist.

When booking your painters/Artists keep in mind, on average each design takes between 2 - 5 minutes to complete depending on the complexity of the design.

Glitter tattoo Artists: Rate of Pay is $120* per hour worked.

*Rate surcharge for long-weekend or holidays is $15 per hour

Individual Face Painting is charged by the hour and varies in price according to the amount of detail.

Outside of city limits, travel fees are extra and will be quoted to the client at the time of booking.  A Deposit may be required in advance to secure your date and time. Please make all cheques payable to Régan Pattyn.  E-transfers can be sent to: faceandbodyfx@mts.net

 

Full payment of any outstanding balance must be made on the event date, prior, to the commencement of services. Payment must made in cash if no prior deposit was received.  There will be an additional fee of $30 for a returned NSF cheque.  Invoice/receipt will be provided on request.

Artist/s will cease work at the scheduled end time or upon completing the maximum number of guests as quoted, whichever comes first.  If additional hours are required and are feasible, it is expected that additional, payment be made at the same rate, and on the day of the event.

Cancellations:

​72 hours must be given to cancel or postpone services.  Without this notice, there will be a cancellation fee of $100.  Should an artist become ill and need to cancel, fees will only apply to time worked and travel.  Note: Every effort will be made to find a replacement.

Client/Event organizer agrees to provide:

      Free admission to the event for the artist/s

      1 table (preferably rectangular), 2 chairs in desired location if needed

      1 parking spot close to the entertainment area - to facilitate loading/unloading

      One 5-10 minute paid break for every 2 hours worked if needed

Other information:

Limitations on artwork: Artist/s reserve the right, at their discretion, to decline painting any design they deem potentially offensive or inappropriate. 

Extreme adverse working conditions: An artist has the right to stop painting and leave without refunding any monies if there are extreme adverse working conditions and the client fails to remedy the situation after it has been brought to the client's attention.  Adverse conditions include (but are not limited to): destructive, violent, or extreme, inappropriate behavior of a child or adult; illegal activities; insufficient protection from the elements; ie: dangerous conditions, not shaded.

Liability statement:

​Artists are not liable for allergic reactions to paint or any other products used.  Children/adults with skin allergies or sensitivities (when informed of such) will be offered a patch test.

For sanitary reasons, we cannot paint individuals who appear to be sick, have a runny nose, cough, etc., or are suffering from colds, cold sores, conjunctivitis, rashes, skin conditions, or open wounds.

We will only paint children who are old enough to understand what we are doing and are willing to participate.  Children who will not hold still or appear scared will not be painted.

Artists will use reasonable care but are not responsible for damage to clothing or property.

The client agrees to pay for any accidents, injuries, or damages to the artists' belongings caused by guests or animals present at the event.  The artist/s is not responsible for supervising children or adults during the painting process.  The behavior and safety of all individuals present are the sole responsibility of the client and/or their parents or guardians.

I have read, understood, and agree to the above liability statement and terms of service.  I confirm the details of this agreement as accurate and accept them as binding.
